Members of the unit and the Faculty Association shall be informed in writing of the new appointment procedures before they are implemented. The appointment process shall follow the guidelines prescribed by the University Employment Equity and Diversity Policy. Signed written recommendations and statements by academic staff members of the academic unit with respect to the proposed academic appointment shall be appended to the recommendation(s) forwarded by the Xxxx to the University. All materials shall be retained in accordance with the University’s Records and Information Management Policy.
