Appointing Officer. A grievant dissatisfied with the immediate supervisor's response at Step 1 may appeal to the Appointing Officer or designee, in writing, within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the Step 1 response. The Appointing Officer or designee shall respond in writing within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the grievance.

Appointing Officer. 43. A grievant dissatisfied with the immediate supervisor's response at Step 1 may appeal to the Appointing Officer or designee, in writing, within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the Step 1 response. The Step 2 grievance shall contain a specific description of the basis for the grievance, the resolution desired, and specific reason or reasons for rejecting the lower step response and advancing the grievance to the next step. The Appointing Officer or designee shall respond in writing within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the grievance and shall address the reason or reasons the grievance has been denied or upheld.

  • APPOINTING OFFICERS The Member may appoint officers or managers and define their function and authority per Section 00-00-000 of the Act.

  • Hearing Officer The Hearing Officer shall be jointly selected by the parties within thirty (30) days of the execution of this contract and shall serve for a minimum of one (1) year from the date of selection. At that time the parties may choose to re-appoint the Hearing Officer or select a different Hearing Officer who will also serve for a minimum of one (1) year from date of selection.

  • Presiding Officer At each meeting of the Board of Managers, the Chairman, or in the absence of the Chairman the President, or in the absence of the President a chairman chosen by a majority of the Managers present, shall preside. The Secretary shall act as secretary at each meeting of the Board of Managers. In case the Secretary shall be absent from any meeting of the Board of Managers, an Assistant Secretary shall perform the duties of secretary at such meeting; and in the absence from any such meeting of the Secretary and all Assistant Secretaries, the person presiding at the meeting may appoint any person to act as secretary of the meeting.

  • Contracting Officer The person authorized to administer and make written determinations for the Commonwealth with respect to the Prime Contract. Department – The Department of General Services of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Issuing Office – The department, board, commission or other agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that issued the Procurement.   • EEO Officer The contractor will designate and make known to the contracting officers an EEO Officer who will have the responsibility for and must be capable of effectively administering and promoting an active EEO program and who must be assigned adequate authority and responsibility to do so.

  • PROJECT OFFICER The performance of the Contractor is subject to the review and approval of the County Project Officer, who will be appointed by the Director of the Arlington County department or agency requesting the Work under this Contract.
