Common use of Applicable Law; Severability Clause in Contracts

Applicable Law; Severability. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without reference to rules relating to conflicts of law. In the event that any provision of this Agreement becomes or is declared by a court of competent jurisdiction or arbitrator to be illegal, unenforceable, or void, this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect without said provision.

Applicable Law; Severability. In the event that any provision portion of this Agreement becomes or is conflicts with applicable law, such conflict shall not affect other provisions of this Agreement that can be given effect without the conflicting provision, and to this end the provisions of this Agreement are declared by a court of competent jurisdiction or arbitrator to be illegal, unenforceable, or void, this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect without said provisionseverable.
