Appeal to the President. In the event that either party is not satisfied with the decision of Step 3, either party may, within ten (10) class days of receipt of the decision of Step 3, submit a written appeal to the President of the University. This appeal will be accompanied by: (a) the original statement by the grievant, and (b) all written communication exchanged between parties during Steps 1, 2, and 3 above. The President will advise the grievant in writing of his/her decision within fifteen (15) class days of receipt of the appeal.

Appeal to the President. Within fifteen (15) working days of the appeal, the President or his/her representative shall make a determination regarding the Appellant’s dissatisfaction and, as appropriate, instruct the Chief Academic Officer accordingly, and provide written notice of his/her determination to the Appellant. If the Appellant is dissatisfied with the President’s determination, or if the President fails to provide timely written notice of his/her determination, the dissatisfied party may appeal by completing the appropriate additional portion of the Master Agreement Grievance Form, within five (5) working days of receiving the President’s written notice or of the expiration of the President’s determination period.   • Presiding Officer At each meeting of the Board of Managers, the Chairman, or in the absence of the Chairman the President, or in the absence of the President a chairman chosen by a majority of the Managers present, shall preside. The Secretary shall act as secretary at each meeting of the Board of Managers.
