Appeal to Manager Designated By Director of Transportation. The grievant or the Union may appeal from the decision at Step 1 within fifteen (15) working days after the Step 1 decision. This appeal shall be in writing and shall set out fully the basis of the grievance. The appeal shall be made to a Manager designated by the Director of Transportation. The Designated Manager shall conduct a meeting on the grievance. Within fifteen (15) working days of receiving the grievance the Designated Manager shall render his/her written decision, sending it to the Union representative and the grievant.

Step 32: Appeal to Manager, Employee & Labor Relations At any time within five (5) ten (10) working days after the Step 2 1 decision, the grievant or the Union may appeal the Step 2 decision, in writing, to the Manager, Employee & Labor Relations or designee. Manager, Employee & Labor Relations or designee shall conduct a meeting on the grievance within fifteen (15) working days after receipt of the appeal, and the grievant and the Union shall be given notice of the meeting and an opportunity to be heard. Within fifteen (15) working days after the meeting, the Manager, Employee & Labor Relations or designee shall render a written decision and deliver a copy of the decision to the grievant and to the Union.

The fact sheet is set forth in Exhibit I of this Contract and is also available on the Internet at xxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxx for printing purposes.

  • Restricted Employment for Certain State Personnel Contractor acknowledges that, pursuant to Section 572.069 of the Texas Government Code, a former state officer or employee of a state agency who during the period of state service or employment participated on behalf of a state agency in a procurement or contract negotiation involving Contractor may not accept employment from Contractor before the second anniversary of the date the Contract is signed or the procurement is terminated or withdrawn.

  • Employee Who Acts as Representative Where an employee wishes to represent at a meeting with the Employer, an employee who has presented a grievance, the Employer will, where operational requirements permit, grant leave with pay to the representative when the meeting is held in the headquarters area of such employee and leave without pay when the meeting is held outside the headquarters area of such employee.

  • Compliance with Contractor Employee Jury Service Ordinance Contractor shall comply with the County Ordinance with respect to provision of jury duty pay to employees and have and adhere to a written policy that provides that its employees shall receive from the Contractor, on an annual basis, no less than five days of regular pay for actual jury service in San Mateo County. The policy may provide that employees deposit any fees received for such jury service with the Contractor or that the Contractor deduct from the employees’ regular pay the fees received for jury service.
