Anti-Terrorism Regulations. 2.1. In accordance to the Terrorism Act 2000 and all subsequent regulations pursuant to this Act, the Subcontractor will assure itself to the best of its knowledge that UK government funding, including financial assets or economic resources, is not made available, either directly or indirectly to or for the benefit of persons, groups or entities listed in accordance with European Council Regulation EC/2580/2001 (as amended) and/or the Terrorism (United Nations Measures) Orders 2009 of the United Kingdom, or contravene the provisions of those and any subsequent applicable terrorism legislation.

Anti-Terrorism Regulations. 20.1 The Contractor confirms that they have not been and will not be engaged in activities that indirectly or directly support or benefit terrorism. It further confirms that it does not appear on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List maintained by the U.S. Treasury, U.S. Government Excluded Parties Listing System, United Nations Security designation list, Canadian government list of terrorist entities or UK Home Office list of Proscribed Terrorist Groups. The Contractor is required to abide by The Terrorism Xxx 0000 (TACT) as well which prohibits transactions with, and the provision of resources and support to, individuals and organisations associated with terrorism.

The Contractor shall notify Pegasys in writing if it has been listed by any government department or agency as being debarred, suspended, proposed for suspension or debarment, or otherwise ineligible for participation in government procurement programmes in the United Kingdom. Where the Contractor or any of his employees, servants, agents or Sub‐Contractors, or any person acting on their behalf, breaches any of the acts mentioned in clause U, commits any offence under the Terrorism Xxx 0000, with or without the knowledge of the Contractor, in relation to this Agreement or any other Agreement with the Crown, Pegasys shall be entitled: to terminate the Agreement with immediate effect by written notice to the Contractor and recover from the Contractor the amount of any loss resulting from the termination. to recover from the Contractor any other loss sustained as a result of any breach whether or not the Agreement has been terminated. U. Environmental Regulations The Contractor shall take all reasonable steps to protect the environment in relation to the performance of the Research and Related Activities and shall comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office’s practices.

Anti-Terrorism Regulations. None of the Borrower, the Trust or any of their respective Subsidiaries: (i) is a person whose property or interest in property is blocked or subject to blocking pursuant to Section 1 of Executive Order 13224 of September 23, 2001 Blocking Property and Prohibiting Transactions with Persons Who Commit, Threaten to Commit, or Support Terrorism (66 Fed. Reg. 49079 (2001)) or who engages in any dealings or transactions prohibited by Section 2 of such executive order, (ii) is a person named on the list of Specially Designated Nationals or Blocked Persons maintained by OFAC and available at xxx.xxxxx.xxx/xxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxx/xxxx/xxxxx.xxxxx, or as otherwise published from time to time, or is subject to the limitations or prohibitions under any other OFAC regulation or executive order; (iii) is (A) an agency of the government of a country, (B) an organization controlled by a country, or (C) a person resident in a country that is subject to a sanctions program identified on the list maintained by OFAC and available at xxx.xxxxx.xxx/xxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxx/xxxx/xxxxx.xxxxx, or as otherwise published from time to time, as such program may be applicable to such country, agency, organization or person; or (iv) derives any of its material assets or operating income from investments in or transactions with any such agency, organization or person. None of the proceeds from any Loan will knowingly be used to finance any operations, investments or activities in, or make any payments to, any such country, agency, organization, or person.
