Annual Vacation Schedule. In order for Department to plan for scheduled vacations and to allow employees a reasonable selection of vacation dates, the following formula will be used: based on assigned shift strength, one-seventh (1/7) of the bargaining unit members on a shift will be permitted to schedule annual leave. Calculations shall be rounded down to the nearest whole number. (For example: 26 on shift x 1/7 = 3.7, which rounds down to 3 employees. 27 on shift x 1/7 = 3.8, which rounds down to 3 employees. 28 on shift x 1/7 = 4 employees)

Annual Vacation Schedule. The Employer will consider vacations at the times requested considering business requirements. Employees or DSP will be entitled to 15 working days’ vacation per year, subject to reasonable notice. Reasonable notice will be considered 45 days. Notwithstanding the above, Employees or DSP are encouraged to give as much notice as possible. Although the Employer will make a reasonable effort to accommodate, requested vacation period will be given considering the operations, client’s acceptance and seniority.
Annual Vacation Schedule. The Village will post an annual vacation schedule for March through February whereby an employee with less than ten years of service must “bid” at least forty hours of vacation leave and an employee with ten or more years of service must “bid” at least eighty hours of vacation leave The blank schedule will be posted on or about February 1st of each year.
