Annual Uniform Allowance. The uniform allowance will be paid to employees at the current rate. Normally, the allowance will be paid to the employees no later than 30 days after the beginning of each calendar year.
Annual Uniform Allowance. Effective the first pay period after July 1, 2008, the City shall provide an annual uniform allowance of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) to represented employees covered by this Memorandum. In the event that an employee separates from City service, for whatever cause (except in the case of death resulting from on-the-job injury), during the fiscal year for which the annual uniform allowance has been paid, such payment shall be adjusted on a pro rata basis in relationship to the period of service in the final fiscal year of employment. The annual Uniform Allowance shall be paid in combination with Longevity Premium Pay, as a separate check.
Annual Uniform Allowance. The Department will no longer issue replacement uniforms and accessories. Except as provided in Section A, members will instead receive a uniform allowance of eight hundred and fifty dollars ($850) annually for the procurement and maintenance of all of the member’s required uniforms and accessories. Alternatively, the Department may institute a uniform voucher system and issue Employees uniform vouchers in lieu of cash payments. The member shall be responsible for procuring uniforms and equipment according to Department specifications. This allowance shall not include maintenance and procurement of bulletproof vests or other specialty equipment, which the Department shall continue to procure and issue directly to members.

Annual Uniform Allowance. The City will provide all unit employees an annual lump-sum payment of one thousand and sixty dollars ($1,060.00) in the first paycheck in January each year for uniform replacement and maintenance for the upcoming calendar year.

This annual uniform allowance may be used by the officer to dry clean his or her uniform and work clothing, and to purchase those clothing and equipment items set forth in Section 17.4 below.
Annual Uniform Allowance. The annual uniform allowance for firefighter personnel will be at a minimum of $500.00. Installation fire chief’s will determine mission requirement of the annual uniform allowance and authorize a cost up-to $800.00. After the first year that employees receive a uniform allowance, payment will be made on a semi-annual basis within the fiscal year. All firefighter personnel required to wear a uniform to perform duties assigned, will wear uniforms compliant with NFPA Standard 1975 in accordance with the XXXX 6055.06.
Annual Uniform Allowance. The City shall provide for the payment of $700 per year for uniformed personnel who have successfully completed their initial probation and $800 per year for non-uniformed personnel who have successfully completed their initial probation as a uniform and equipment allowance. The allowance shall be paid annually in January (for the upcoming year) of each fiscal year, except that employees who successfully complete their initial probation during the course of a calendar year shall thereupon receive a pro-rata share of the annual allowance for that year. For example, an employee who successfully completes entry level probation on October 1, and is entitled to the $700 per year allowance shall then receive a $175 allowance for that year and an additional $700 allowance for the next year.
