Annual Step Increases. Effective August 1, 2022, unit members covered by the salary schedules in Appendices A-E who are not already at top step shall receive a step increase effective August 1 each year if during the immediately previous Fiscal Year they worked, or were in paid leave status, for at least 60% of the workdays for their assigned FTE. Unit members not covered by the salary schedules in Appendices A-E shall be eligible for annual 2% salary increases based on the same eligibility criteria.

Annual Step Increases. A. Upon successful completion of six months of service an employee shall receive a one step increase in compensation.   • Step Increases (a) The following is the method used to determine service credit, since the last date of hire, for purposes of positioning on the salary range:

  • Step Increase Employees shall move to the next step of the salary schedule, only when agreed to specifically by parties in contract negotiations. If a step increase is provided, it shall be granted to those employees who receive an overall performance evaluation rating of “Effective” or higher.
