– Annual Leave upon Promotion into Unit. ‌ If an employee of the Metropolitan Council who is promoted into the unit is earning annual leave at a higher rate than the rate prescribed by this agreement, the employee shall continue to accrue at said higher rate for the balance of the calendar year in which the promotion occurs. At the end of the calendar year the employee shall revert to accruing annual leave as prescribed herein.

  • Salary Upon Promotion ‌ Except as otherwise provided herein, any full or part-time employee who is promoted to a position in a class allocated to a higher salary scale than the class from which the employee was promoted shall receive the salary step rate of the appropriate scale which would constitute an increase of salary most closely equivalent to, but not less than, five (5) percent of the employee’s salary step rate before promotion, but not less than the minimum salary scale of the new class nor greater than the maximum salary of the new class. If a promotion occurs on the same day a merit increase is due and approved, the merit increase shall be computed first and subsequently the increase due to promotion. An employee who is promoted shall be considered for a merit increase when the employee’s total hours in paid status, exclusive of overtime subsequent to promotion, equals 1,040 hours. The effective date of the merit increase shall be in accordance with Section 7.21.

  • Annual Leave Loading (a) In addition to their ordinary pay, an employee, other than a shiftworker, will be paid an annual leave loading of 17.5% of their ordinary pay on a maximum of 152 hours/four weeks annual leave per annum.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Accrual of Annual Leave (1). Full-time employees appointed for more than nine (9) months, except employees on academic year appointments, shall accrue annual leave at the rate of 6.769 hours biweekly or 14.667 hours per month (or a number of hours that is directly proportionate to the number of days worked during less than a full-pay period for full-time employees), and the hours accrued shall be credited at the conclusion of each pay period or, upon termination, at the effective date of termination. Employees may accrue annual leave in excess of the year end maximum during a calendar year. Employees with accrued annual leave in excess of the year end maximum as of December 31, shall have any excess converted to sick leave on an hour-for-hour basis on January 1 of each year.

  • Overtime Meal Allowances (a) An Employee who is required to work a minimum of two and one-half (2½) hours overtime before or after his/her scheduled hours of work, shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed nine dollars ($9.00). A meal break of one-half (½) hour with pay shall be given at the overtime rate. This section shall not apply to an Employee who is on travel status which entitles him/her to claim for lodging and/or meals.

  • Lifetime maximums and non-prescription out-of-pocket maximums Coverage under Advantage is not subject to a per person lifetime maximum. In the first and second years of the contract, coverage under Advantage is subject to a plan year, non-prescription drug, out-of-pocket maximum of one thousand seven hundred dollars ($1,700) per person or three thousand four hundred dollars ($3,400) per family for members whose primary care clinic is in Cost Level 1 or Cost Level 2; two thousand four hundred dollars ($2,400) per person or four thousand eight hundred dollars ($4,800) per family for members whose primary care clinic is in Cost Level 3; and three thousand six hundred dollars ($3,600) per person or seven thousand two hundred dollars ($7,200) per family for members whose primary care clinic is in Cost Level 4.
