Annual Leave and Public Holidays. (i) Annual leave shall accrue progressively during a year of service according to the employee’s ordinary hours of work and accumulates from year to year.

If any prescribed Public Holiday falls within an Employee's period of annual leave and is observed on a day which in the case of that Employee would have been an ordinary working day there shall be added to that period 1 day, being an ordinary working day, for each such holiday observed as aforesaid.

Annual Leave and Public Holidays. 18.1 Contractors shall be entitled to annual leave, as provided in Annex A and may be required by the company to take such leave, on a roster determined by the company, having regard where possible to the preferences of the contractors. Contractors shall be entitled to payment of public holidays at the rates contained in Annex A. Eight sick days and one Union Picnic Day are included in the rates contained in Annex A.
