Annual Assignment. 71 (a) Communication of Assignment. Employees shall be apprised in writing, at the 72 beginning of their employment and each year of employment thereafter, of the assignment 73 of effort expected in teaching, research and other creative activities, public service, and of 74 any other specific duties assigned for that year.
Annual Assignment. (a) Communication of Workload Assignment. Faculty will be apprised in writing, at the beginning of their employment and at the beginning of each year of employment thereafter, of the expectations related to teaching, scholarly and creative projects, and service for that year. Any special or atypical work expectations affecting these activities will be identified in the workload assignment letter.
Annual Assignment. By March 1, teachers shall be allowed to declare their preference of assignment for the following year by submitting a written request to the Superintendent of Schools. Tentative assignments specifying building assignment, grade level assignment, subject area assignment, and number of sections in any given area will be given to existing staff members no later than May 31 for the succeeding school year.

Other employees shall be apprised in writing at the beginning of their employment and at the beginning of each year of employment thereafter, of the duties assigned for that year. The assignment shall be communicated to employees no later than four 4 weeks in advance of its starting date, if practicable.
Annual Assignment. The AFT and the District shall in good faith continue exploration of the suitability and feasibility of providing the opportunity for faculty on a volunteer basis to substitute an alternate twelve (12) week summer assignment for either the Fall semester or Spring semester or some alternate thereof. This exploration is conducted with the view that, if both parties find conditions acceptable, equable, practicable, and legal for the adoption of such a voluntary change in annual assignments, they will make a good faith effort to negotiate such a change.
Annual Assignment. Beginning in the 2018-2019 school year and for the duration of the contract, all Para-professionals will have a calendar that coincides with the student calendar, plus two workdays of which one (1) will be before school begins and one
