Salary Progression 1. For the purposes of determining annual progression from one step to the next, each teacher’s performance will be assessed annually against the appropriate professional standards.
Anniversary Date A regular employee’s initial date of current employment with the Employer as a regular employee shall be her anniversary date for the purpose of determining benefits and for the purpose of determining increment anniversary date. (Reference Article 6.05 - Superior Benefits and Article 12.03 - Increments).

Completion of Evaluation Cycle 1. The summative evaluation rating shall be based upon a preponderance of the evidence, assessed in a holistic manner, that is aligned to the Ohio Educator Standards. Only evidence gathered during the walkthroughs and formal observations that are conducted for the current school year may be used.

Contract Year A twelve (12) month period during the term of the Agreement commencing on the Effective Date and each anniversary thereof.

Anniversary Increments Employees shall advance on the wage grid on their anniversary date in the classification.
Attainment on Performance Indicators The District will be responsible for overseeing the academic programs offered in its schools and ensuring that those programs meet or exceed state and local expectations for levels of attainment on the statewide performance indicators, as specified in 1 CCR 301-1.
