Common use of Anniversary Dates Clause in Contracts

Anniversary Dates. Employees covered by this Agreement and hired before July 1, 2001, will keep the anniversary dates that they held on July 1, 2001 for as long as they are continuously employed. Employees hired on or after July 1, 2001, will have as their anniversary dates the dates of their initial appointment and those anniversary dates will not be changed while those employees are continuously employed. Employees hired (promotion, demotion, transfer, new hire) on or after July 1, 2003, will have as their anniversary dates the dates of their initial appointment in this bargaining unit and those anniversary dates will not be changed while those employees are continuously employed.
