Animal Policy. Permission to have an animal in a MWU apartment building must be requested through the Midwestern University Residence Life Housing Office - Glendale Campus, which has total discretion in the handling of such requests. Only apartments in buildings A, B, C, D, E, and F are designated as animal friendly apartments. Apartments in buildings G, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, and Q are not designated as animal friendly apartments and, as such, any requests to have an animal in these apartments will not be granted. Residents requesting to have an animal in an approved MWU apartment must submit a written request to the Residence Life Housing Office and must sign the animal agreement prior to moving on campus/obtaining an animal. Failure to obtain prior written consent to have an animal in a MWU apartment and submit a signed animal agreement will result in a charge of $500 per animal in addition to the normal animal charges described below and any other applicable rent and costs. If having an animal is approved, the resident must provide proof of the animal’s current vaccinations to be kept on file in the Residence Life Office.
Animal Policy. The only animals permitted in the building are fish in a 20 gallon or smaller tank. Any unauthorized animal will result in a $250.00 charge to Tenant, and $20.00 per day penalty until the animal is removed from the building.

There are no animals permitted, with the following exceptions: service animals, approved rabbits, sheep, goats, xxxxxx and alpacas involved with breed displays or shows, sheep dog puppies being sold in your booth with our approval and sheep dogs used in the dog trials and demos. You will then receive the Festival’s terms and guidelines for the sale of these animals on Fairground’s property. Only those vendors agreeing to abide by these guidelines will be permitted to sell rabbits and sheep dog puppies. NO PETS are allowed anywhere, including the camping area! The Fairgrounds and the Festival reserve the right to ask anyone violating this rule to leave the premises. No refund on camping fees or booth fees paid, will be given.

Sub-leasing Apartments and housing facilities are for student housing residents only Sub-leasing the apartment to another non-resident student or a non-student in prohibited. Subleasing the apartment is a violation of the housing agreement. Is such a violation occurs, you will be held liable for any damages caused to the apartment. Sanctions will be imposed such as monetary fines, and possible eviction. If commencement of this contract takes place after Financial Aid funds have been disbursed, it is the student’s responsibility to make the appropriate housing payment OR make payment arrangements with the Office of Student Financial Services. Please note: There is a $25.00 improper check-out fee for students who do not make proper check-out arrangements with the Residence Life Staff. Housing is based on a first come first serve basis. A $300 security deposit application fee is required with your housing application. Please be advised that the $300 application fee stays as a security deposit and is not refundable until you move out. The $300 security deposit fee will apply toward cleaning and maintenance fee if the apartment is not left in good condition at the time of move out. The $300 application fee is fully refundable if you withdraw your application by March 30th; however, if you fail to withdraw your application by the March 30th deadline and an apartment had been assigned to you, you will automatically forfeit the $300 application fee. Alberta Bible College will comply with provincial laws regarding guide dogs and service dogs to ensure that the ABC campus and college-related activities are safe, welcoming, and accessible for all participants.
