An Individual Grievance Sample Clauses

An Individual Grievance is a Grievance initiated by the Association against the Employer on behalf of a single Member, who is solely affected. Only one Grievance concerning the same circumstance will be recognized. Where Grievances are similar, the Parties agree to make the necessary arrangements to hear the Grievances as a Group Grievance.

An Individual Grievance is a grievance initiated by a single Member or involving a single Member against the Board. A Group Grievance is a grievance concerning two (2) or more Members involving the same dispute against the Board. A Grievance is a grievance initiated by the Association against the Board which may but need not relate to an actual dispute involvingan individual Member or group of Members. A Board Grievance is a grievance initiated by the Board against the Association. Process All grievances must be properly carried through all previous steps of the grievance procedure except that the following grievances shall be filed at Step of this procedure. Policy Grievances Board Grievances Grievances arising from Articles and Grievances arising from loss of employment, lay-off, or suspension of a Member. The Association alone shall have the right to initiate Policy Grievances. Individual Grievances shall be initiated only by a Member. A Group Grievance may be initiated by a4 either the Association or a group of Members.

  • Informal Grievance The aggrieved employee or group of employees or a representative of the Union shall orally present the grievance to the employee's Supervisor or his/her designated representative within five (5) standard working days following the occurrence of events on which the grievance is based. The Supervisor shall give his/her answer within five (5) standard working days of the date of presentation of the grievance. Grievance settlements at the informal level shall set no precedents in any future MOU interpretation.
