The Contract Time can be modified only by Change Order. Failure to achieve Substantial Completion within the Contract Time or as otherwise agreed to in writing will cause damage to Owner and may subject Contractor to liquidated damages as provided in the Contract Documents. If Contractor fails to achieve Final Completion in a reasonable time after Substantial Completion, Contractor shall be responsible for Owner’s damages including, but not limited to, additional inspection, project management, and maintenance cost to the extent caused by Contractor’s failure to achieve Final Completion.

  • Termination of the Contract 11.1. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.

  • Amendment of the Contract (06/19) Any changes to the provisions of this Contract shall be in the form of an Amendment. No provision of this Contract may be amended unless such Amendment is approved as to form by the City Attorney and executed in writing by authorized representatives of the Parties. If the requirements for Amendment of this Contract as described in this section are not satisfied in full, then such Amendments automatically will be deemed null, void, invalid, non-binding, and of no legal force or effect. The City reserves the right to make administrative changes to the Contract unilaterally, such as extending option years and increasing compensation. An administrative change means a written Contract change that does not affect the substantive rights of the Parties.
