  • Accrued (and theretofore unpaid) interest shall be payable (i) in respect of each Base Rate Loan, quarterly in arrears on each Quarterly Payment Date, (ii) in respect of each Eurodollar Loan, on the last day of each Interest Period applicable thereto and, in the case of an Interest Period in excess of three months, on each date occurring at three month intervals after the first day of such Interest Period and (iii) in respect of each Loan, on any repayment or prepayment (on the amount repaid or prepaid), at maturity (whether by acceleration or otherwise) and, after such maturity, on demand.

  • Deducted as They Accrue Liquidated Damages shall be deducted from periodic payments as they accrue and such deduction shall be in addition to the retainage provided for in the Contract. The remaining balance of any Liquidated Damages shall be deducted from the Payment for Material Completion to the Contractor or its Surety. If the unpaid balance of the Contract Sum is less than the total amount to be deducted for Liquidated Damages as herein above provided, the Contractor shall promptly pay to the Owner, upon the Owner's demand, the amount by which such sum exceeds the unpaid balance of the Contract Sum.
