Common use of Alternative Assignments Clause in Contracts

Alternative Assignments. ‌ An employee placed on an alternate assignment during an investigation will be informed of the general reason(s) for the alternative assignment, unless it would compromise the integrity of the investigation, and will not be prohibited from contacting their union xxxxxxx unless there is a conflict of interest, in which case the employee may contact another union xxxxxxx.
