Alternate Plan Purchase Option. The Employer, upon approval of the Joint Trustees of the Trust, may select an alternate provider or benefit plan that equals the benefits of the Trust plans otherwise in effect. Dependent benefits must be made available at equal or lesser cost to the employee as the plans offered by the Trust, and such benefits must equal or exceed the benefits.
