Taxes and Charges Contractor shall be responsible for payment of all taxes, fees, contributions or charges applicable to the conduct of the Contractor’s business.
Payment of Taxes The Company shall from time to time promptly pay all taxes and charges that may be imposed upon the Company or the Warrant Agent in respect of the issuance or delivery of shares of Common Stock upon the exercise of the Warrants, but the Company shall not be obligated to pay any transfer taxes in respect of the Warrants or such shares of Common Stock.
Treatment of Taxes Except as otherwise provided in the Loan Agreement, the proceeds of the Loan may be withdrawn to pay for taxes levied by, or in the territory of, the Borrower or the Guarantor on the goods or services to be financed under the Loan, or on their importation, manufacture, procurement or supply. Financing of such taxes is subject to the Bank’s policy of requiring economy and efficiency in the use of the proceeds of its loans. To that end, if the Bank shall at any time determine that the amount of any taxes levied on or in respect of any item to be financed out of the proceeds of the Loan is excessive or otherwise unreasonable, the Bank may, by notice to the Borrower, adjust the percentage for withdrawal set forth or referred to in respect of such item in the Loan Agreement as required to be consistent with such policy of the Bank.”
ASSISTANCE IN THE COLLECTION OF TAXES 1. The Contracting States shall lend assistance to each other in the collection of revenue claims. This assistance is not restricted by Articles 1 and 2. The competent authorities of the Contracting States may by mutual agreement settle the mode of application of this Article.
Ad Valorem Taxes Prior to delinquency, Tenant shall pay all taxes and assessments levied upon trade fixtures, alterations, additions, improvements, inventories and personal property located and/or installed on or in the Premises by, or on behalf of, Tenant; and if requested by Landlord, Tenant shall promptly deliver to Landlord copies of receipts for payment of all such taxes and assessments. To the extent any such taxes are not separately assessed or billed to Tenant, Tenant shall pay the amount thereof as invoiced by Landlord.
Taxes, etc Any taxes, fees and expenses in connection with the purchase and registration under the Buyers’ flag shall be for the Buyers’ account, whereas similar charges in connection with the closing of the Sellers’ register shall be for the Sellers’ account.
Costs and Charges 8.19.1 To protect the Landlord from loss arising from a claim that may be brought against the Tenant as a consequence of a breach by the Tenant of any covenant contained in this Agreement. Such loss shall be deemed to include any charges which the Landlord may reasonably incur in connection with proceedings in a court of law against the Tenant but without prejudice to a Tenant’s right to have such costs assessed by the relevant court.
TAXES/FEES Contractor promptly shall pay all applicable taxes on its operations and activities pertaining to this Master Contract. Failure to do so shall constitute breach of this Master Contract. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall pay applicable sales tax imposed by the State of Washington on purchased goods and/or services. Contractor, however, shall not make any charge for federal excise taxes and Xxxxxxxxx agrees to furnish Contractor with an exemption certificate where appropriate.
Extra Charges No charges of any kind, including charges for boxing or cartage, will be allowed unless specifically agreed by Xxxxx in writing. Pricing by weight, where applicable, covers net weight of Goods, unless otherwise agreed.
New Taxes Any taxes not in effect as of the Effective Date enacted by a Governmental Authority or the Town, to be effective after the Effective Date with respect to All-Requirements Power Supply, or any Governmental Rule enacted and effective after the Effective Date resulting in application of any existing tax for the first time to Participating Consumers.
