All Other Active Duty. Subject to Section 000x, Xxxxx 00, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Code, an employee not covered under subsection 2c(1)(a) of this Article, above, shall report back for work with the City: (i) at the beginning of the employee's next regularly scheduled work shift after the expiration of the last calendar day necessary to travel from the place of training to the place of employment following such employee's release from active duty, or (ii) such employee's discharge from hospitalization incident to such active duty for training or one year after such employee's scheduled release from such training, whichever is earlier. For purposes of interpretation and construction of the provisions of subsections 2c(1) (a) and 2c(1) (b) of this subsection, full-time training or any other full-time duty performed by a member of the Reserve or National Guard component of the Armed Forces of the United States shall be considered active duty for training.

  • Union Activity During Working Hours The Employer and the Union recognize that union representatives and stewards play an important role in effectuating the terms of this Agreement; however, both parties acknowledge that the duties undertaken as a union representative or xxxxxxx are in addition to the their job assignments. The Union shall notify the Department of Budget and Management in writing of the names of designated stewards and union representatives prior to them assuming any duties. Consistent with the operational needs of the Employer, the Employer shall grant time off with pay for designated stewards and union representatives, including reasonable travel time when necessary, to attend:

  • Active Duty An employee who enlists or is called into active duty for the military service of the United States or who, in time of national emergency, voluntarily enlists for active duty, shall be granted military leave for the time necessary to permit completion of the military service. In order to have reemployment rights, a person leaving active duty in the military service of the United States must comply with USERRA.

  • Interaction with Other Leaves Paid parental leave will run concurrently with any unpaid leave(s) that parents may be entitled to under other provisions of this Agreement or provided by law. Employees shall not receive other types of paid leave provided by this Agreement (e.g., sick, vacation, compensatory time) for hours for which they are receiving PPL.

  • Health Oversight Activities If I receive a subpoena from the Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists because they are investigating my practice, I must disclose any PHI requested by the Board.

  • Required Activities 1. Biometrics measuring blood pressure, weight and height for BMI, fasting cholesterol (total and LDL) and fasting glucose 33% 2. Completion of the online Health Survey 33%

  • Civic Duty Whenever an employee is served with a subpoena by a court of competent jurisdiction which compels his/her presence as a witness during his/her normal working period, unless he/she is a party to the litigation or an expert witness, such employee shall be granted time off with pay in the amount of the difference between the employee's regular earnings and any amount he/she receives for such appearance. This Article is not applicable to appearances for which the employee receives compensation in excess of his/her regular earnings. A court of competent jurisdiction is defined as a court within the County in which the employee resides or if outside the county of residence, the place of appearance must be within 150 miles of the employee's residence.

  • Other Than Normal Working Hours Non-prevailing Wage Rate Projects: Work performed from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday to Friday, and any time Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays.
