All Employees. The Company shall not include the shift differential in any employee’s wage rate for the calculation of overtime.
All Employees. The Employer agrees not to enter into any agreement or contract, either orally or written, with its employees covered by this Agreement, individually or collectively which in any way conflicts with the terms and provisions of this Agreement.

All Employees. (i) An employee who loses time due to a transfer or change in schedule will be granted the right to work at available work for straight time payment to make-up for lost time if requested by the employee.

The employee shall receive within three (3) months of the date of hire a central orientation program concerning the history of legal services, the structure of the national legal services program, the relationship between LSNYC Central and operating legal services corporations in New York City, this contract, health insurance, 403(b), the Personnel Manual, administrative procedures, central substantive and administrative resources and the training program. Where several new employees have joined an office’s staff during the month, some of the new employees’ orientation may take place in the second month.
All Employees. Employees within the same classification, regardless of their rates of pay, may request a mutual exchange of regular hours (excluding overtime hours). Each employee shall assume the hours of work of the employee replaced but shall continue to receive their own regular hourly rate. If premium payment is involved because of a change of schedule, the premium will be paid to the employee whose schedule is changed on the first day the employee works on the new schedule. Reasonable suspicion testing for alcohol or controlled substances may be directed by the University for any employee when there is reason to suspect that alcohol or controlled substance use may be adversely affecting the employee’s job performance or that the employee may present a danger to the physical safety of the employee or another. Specific objective grounds must be stated in writing that support the reasonable suspicion. Examples of specific objective grounds include but are not limited to:
All Employees. Subject to the provisions of provision (c) hereof, in no case shall the payment by an employer to an employee be less than the sum of the following amounts:–

Employees will report all arrests and any court-imposed sanctions or conditions that would prevent or negatively affect their ability to perform assigned duties to their appointing authority or designee within twenty-four (24) hours or prior to their scheduled work shift, whichever occurs first.
All Employees a) An employee will be given a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours’ notice of cancellation or shortening of any part of a 7.5-hour booked shift.
