Alcohol and Tobacco. If the District determines that pupils may be present during the course of work on the Project, the Construction Manager must comply with all District requirements for criminal-history background checks, regardless of whether statutory requirements for such background checks otherwise would apply.

Excessive or improper use of electronic devices and cell phones can negatively affect students’ academic and social lives and the school community as a whole. With regard to electronic devices and cell phones we ask that students be present, meaning that students be social and courteous to fellow students, and to be engaged in the learning. Specific to cell phones: • All cell phones are to be kept with ringers off and in backpacks during school hours. They may not be kept in pockets or brought to classes, unless with specific permission from a teacher. • Cell phone use is not allowed during school breaks or lunch. • If students need to make a call home, the Middle School Office phone is available to them all day. • We ask that parents not text or call students during the school day – messages may be left for students through the office. That being said, we urge families to make plans in advance of the school day so as not to interrupt teaching and learning. • Use phones and all electronic devices appropriately and respectfully at all times. Routine expectations of students Arriving on time: School begins with first period at 8:00 am. Students are expected to be on campus from 8:00 am until 3:15 pm. We suggest students arrive by 7:50 am.

Technology Responsible Use Agreement for Computers and the Internet At Xxxxxx Xxxxx School we integrate and adapt technology for instructional use to: ● Ensure access to digital tools, where appropriate, to enhance and transform daily learning. ● Guide students in appropriately selecting and using digital tools for their own learning needs. ● Provide opportunities for discussion and practice of digital literacy and digital citizenship principles. In order to accomplish these and other goals, Xxxxxx Xxxxx students engage with technology on a daily basis, both in classes and through completion of work at home. Xxxxxx Xxxxx does not employ system-wide Internet filtering, and students are expected to practice good judgment and make responsible choices. To guide students, individual teachers develop computer use policies for their classes, make their expectations known to their students, and provide specific instruction on healthy digital citizenship. Alcohol and Tobacco. Any Scout guilty of using, possessing and/or distributing drugs, alcohol, and/or tobacco products during a Troop event/activity, will be subject to immediate disciplinary action. The Scout’s parents will be advised of all actions taken. If a Scout is required to take prescription medication during the period of a Troop event, his parents will discuss the requirement with the Scoutmaster/Activity coordinator. Serious medical requirements may require a parent to attend an event and personally administer medication. Prior to an Event parents of scouts needing prescription medication are required to present the medications required during the event to the Activity coordinator along with a troop medication form indicating medication type, dose, frequency and emergency contact information prior to any Scout leaving with the Troop on an event. Fighting Troop 567 has a zero tolerance policy for fighting. Fighting is not permitted and is grounds for immediate disciplinary action. Parents will be called and asked to take their Scout home.
Alcohol and Tobacco. The College strictly forbids the use of alcohol and tobacco on campus, including but not limited to College Housing and any common areas. This includes being under the influence of alcohol.
