ALCOHOL AND ILLEGAL DRUGS. Consistent with our commitment to provide a clean, safe and healthy work environment, we expect employees to work free of the influence of alcohol and illegal drugs. Substance abuse poses serious health and safety risks not only to the abuser, but to all those who work with him or her. Substance abuse also affects job performance. We prohibit the possession, distribution and use of alcohol and illegal drugs on or at Company facilities and we reserve the right to test employees for such substances to the maximum extent permitted by law as set forth in the Employee Handbook. Employee Health and Safety The health and safety of our employees is our first concern and we are committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions. To this end, we promote a comprehensive safety program on behalf of our employees. You share in the responsibility to follow all safety rules and identify potential hazards (or “near misses”). There is no permissible justification for working around or ignoring safety rules. You should promptly report any unsafe condition so that it may be corrected as soon as possible.
ALCOHOL AND ILLEGAL DRUGS a) Xxxxxxxx has a legal obligation to provide a safe and healthy working environment for its workers and others in the workplace, so far as is reasonably practicable. To ensure a safe environment, no machinery is to be operated or used by anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or used or consumed illegal drugs.

  • Possession of Alcohol and Illegal Drugs Employees may not use or possess alcohol while on duty, except when authorized by the institution’s policy. The possession or use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
