The ENGINEER shall prepare a report on air quality to document the results and methods used in modeling and air quality background information. Specific documentation shall include:
Air Quality Analysis. Additional traffic data for the projects estimated time of completion (ETC) year and the ETC +20 year or farthest year used for other assessments will be needed for the air quality analysis. At this time, these traffic volumes are not anticipated to exceed 140,000 vehicles per day (vpd). Since the ETC and ETC + 20 traffic volumes do not exceed 140,000 vpd, a Traffic Air Quality Analysis will not be required. Standard recommended template language per TxDOT’s current Air Quality SOPs will be used in the EA. Since the existing and projected design year traffic volumes do not exceed 140,000 vpd, this project is not likely to meaningfully increase Mobile Source Air Toxics (MSAT) emissions.
