Aid Requirements. The District will provide backpacks with first‐aid kits, rubber gloves, Mylar blankets, and emergency information cards for each classroom. First aid supplies will be available in several locations at the middle school. Each site will have a first aid team trained in CPR and first aid. Each site will have a supply of portable water.
Aid Requirements. What are the State Aid Requirements and why do they apply to this Agreement?
Aid Requirements. Requirements for first aid is determined via a risk-based approach and it is the responsibility of each line manager or a delegate to ensure that there are a sufficient number of first aiders in their areas based on the nature of tasks they undertake. A first aid assessment should be undertaken by department leaders to determine the number of first aiders and first aid facilities that are needed. The assessment should be based on a number of factors including: • The size and location of the workforce Consider factors such as accessibility to external first aid facilities such as a local hospital or medical centre • Number and composition of workers As a general guide, low risk workplaces should have one (1) trained first aider for every fifty (50) workers, and high risk workplaces should have one (1) trained first aider for every twenty five (25) workers. • Injury, Illnesses and Incidents Consider the number and type of incidents that have happened in the past and whether statistics demonstrate a higher/lesser need for first aiders. Also consider whether there are any particular first aid needs of workers who have a disability or a known health concern who may need special attention. • Nature of Work Consider the type of work carried out and the likelihood of harm that could happen; this may influence the need for first aid facilities any specialist first aid equipment.
Aid Requirements. (a) The Union and the Employer agree that First Aid Regulations made pursuant to the Workers Compensation Act shall be fully complied with.
Aid Requirements. It is recommended that all coaches have a senior first aid certificate. All head coaches are required by Arc@UNSW Sport to have a current senior first aid certificate. Photocopies of this certificate are to be attached to the coaching contract. Accreditation All head coaches should have a minimum Level 1 coaching accreditation for their sport. A photocopy of this accreditation must be attached to the coaching contract. It is encouraged that assistant coaches also obtain accreditation however this is not essential if they are working with an accredited head coach. If the head coach does not have accreditation proof of enrolment in a coaching course should be attached to the contract.
Aid Requirements. (a) The Faculty Association and College Board agree that they shall comply with First Aid Regulations made pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act.
Aid Requirements. The Union and the Employer agree that First Aid Regulations made pursuant to the Workers Compensation Act shall be fully complied with. Where the Employer requires an employee to perform first aid duties as a normal requirement of the job, the cost of renewing this certificate shall be borne by the Employer.
Aid Requirements. Where the Employer requires an employee to obtain a first aid certificate the cost of obtaining or renewing the certificate shall be borne by the Employer. No employee shall suffer a loss of income due to required attendance at a first aid course. Employees who fail the course will bear all costs of repeating the program.
