Agreement Preamble. This Agreement is negotiated pursuant to the Ohio Public Employee Collective Bargaining Act (Chapter 4117 of the Ohio Revised Code). The parties agree that there is no waiver of any of the rights granted under the Act. Where a provision of this Agreement conflicts with state law, this Agreement shall prevail. The Cleveland Metropolitan School District and the Cleveland Teachers Union jointly affirm their commitment to providing a quality education for all of Cleveland’s children.
