I The option to accept a' layoff as provided in this Article includes the right of an employee to absent her or himself from the workplace. there are vacant positions available under Article IO, but the nurse is not qualified to perform the available work, and if such nurse is not able to displace another nurse under Article IO, the nurse will be provided with the necessary training up to twelve weeks' training to enable the nurse to become qualified for one of the vacant positions.
