Common use of Age and Sex Clause in Contracts

Age and Sex. If the age or sex, if applicable, of the Annuitant has been misstated, we will adjust any benefit payable under this contract, based on the correct age and sex. Any overpayments we make because of such misstatement, with interest at 6% a year, compounded annually, will be charged against benefits falling due after the adjustment. If we make any underpayment because of such misstatement, we will pay the balance immediately, with 6% interest, compounded annually.
