Afternoon Shifts. Any continuous eight (8) hours (including one-half hour meal break) between the hours of 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight.

Afternoon Shifts. Those employees who work a scheduled shift ½ or more of which falls between 16:00 and 24:00 hours (4:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight) shall receive a shift differential of $1.20 per hour for said shift. MIDNIGHT SHIFTS Those employees who work a scheduled shift ½ or more of which falls between 24:00 and 08:00 hours (12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m.) shall receive a shift differential of $1.60 per hour ($1.75 effective January 5, 2020) for said shift. An employee shall not be eligible for shift differential for hours worked at premium rates, with the only exception being that employees shall be eligible for shift differential for applicable shifts worked on statutory holidays.
Afternoon Shifts. If the employee is rostered to work an afternoon shift, the employee must be paid an afternoon shift allowance of 20% extra for such shift.
Afternoon Shifts. If a second or afternoon shift is employed, the hours of work shall be eight (8) hours per shift and a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour will be paid for each hour paid for on the second or afternoon shift.

  • Afternoon Shift If a second shift is employed, the hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours of work between the hours of 4:30 P.M. and 12:30 A.M. for which eight (8) hours will be paid and a shift premium of sixty-one cents (61¢) shall be added on to the classified hourly rate.

  • Hour Shifts When the Employer deems it necessary to implement a twelve (12) hour work day, affected employees shall be notified pursuant to Clause 14.05. The following Clauses shall be replaced or added to the Collective Agreement where appropriate.

  • Twelve Hour Shifts Employees shall be entitled, subject to exigencies of patient care and/or departmental requirements, to rest periods during the shift of a total of forty-five (45) minutes.

  • Working Day Working Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday which is observed by the construction industry in the area of the Place of the Work.

  • Day Shift The standard work day will consist of eight (8) hours worked between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with a designated thirty (30) minute lunch period. Starting and stopping times to be determined by mutual agreement between the Company and the shop employees.

  • Hour Shift An eight (8) hour tour shall be inclusive of an unpaid one-half (1/2) hour meal period, and two fifteen (15) minute paid relief periods.

  • Monday CASE II An employee should not work more than 16 hours and must take an 8 hour break before continuing work. Therefore, an employee called in at 7:00 p.m. Sunday could work until 11:00

  • Weekdays All work performed outside of the designated shift Monday through Friday shall be paid at time and one-half (1-1/2) the straight-time hourly wage rate.

  • Rotating Shifts Nurses required to work rotating shifts (days, evenings and nights) shall be scheduled in such a way as to equitably as possible assign the rotation. This does not preclude a Nurse from being continuously assigned to an evening or night shift if the Nurse and the Employer mutually agree to such an arrangement.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.
