Common use of After Hours Clause in Contracts

After Hours. For employees who work a regularly scheduled shift where all or part of the shift hours fall between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., an additional six percent (6%) per hour over base pay will be paid for all hours worked within the stipulated period to the nearest one-half (l/2) hour. Persons working overtime past their normal shift will not be entitled to payment under this Article unless all of the scheduled hours of the second shift are worked.
