Advisory Committees. The Board may appoint one or more advisory committees to assist the Board in the management of the District or any of its programs. The members of an advisory committee shall be appointed by and shall serve at the pleasure of the Board and for such period of time as may be determined by the Board. Members of the advisory committee shall serve without pay. At least one member of the Board shall serve as liaison to each advisory committee. Each advisory committee shall perform the duties directed by the Board. The Board shall appoint a chairperson and vice chairperson for each advisory committee.
