Advisory Committees. The Board of Directors may from time to time appoint one or more advisory committees or establish standing or ad hoc committees to assist in carrying out the purposes and objectives of the Agency. The Board shall determine the purpose and need for such committees and the necessary qualifications for individuals appointed to them. Each committee shall include a Director as the chair thereof. Other members of each committee may be composed of those individuals approved by the Board of Directors for participation on the committee. However, no committee or participant on such committee shall have any authority to act on behalf of the Agency.
Advisory Committees. A. The Board affirms its desire to involve citizens and representatives of employee groups in an advisory capacity in the policy-making process of the District.
