Advisory Committees. The Board may appoint Advisory Committees to review design review applications, or provide input on other issues of concern to the Board or the Commission. These Advisory Committees include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
Advisory Committees. The Board of Directors may from time to time appoint one or more advisory committees or establish standing or ad hoc committees to assist in carrying out the purposes and objectives of the Agency. The Board shall determine the purpose and need for such committees and the necessary qualifications for individuals appointed to them. Each committee shall include a Director as the chair thereof. Other members of each committee may be composed of those individuals approved by the Board of Directors for participation on the committee. However, no committee or participant on such committee shall have any authority to act on behalf of the Agency.
Advisory Committees. A. The Board affirms its desire to involve citizens and representatives of employee groups in an advisory capacity in the policy-making process of the District. Each time the Board organizes an advisory citizens committee, it will invite the Association to appoint representatives to the advisory committee.
Advisory Committees. The Council may constitute and empower advisory committees, which may be comprised of representatives of the public and of federal, State, tribal, county and local governments, water resources agencies, water-using industries and sectors, water-interest groups and academic experts in related fields.
Advisory Committees. The Board may appoint one or more advisory committees to assist the Board in the management of the District or any of its programs. The members of an advisory committee shall be appointed by and shall serve at the pleasure of the Board and for such period of time as may be determined by the Board. Members of the advisory committee shall serve without pay. At least one member of the Board shall serve as liaison to each advisory committee. Each advisory committee shall perform the duties directed by the Board. The Board shall appoint a chairperson and vice chairperson for each advisory committee. The advisory committee chairperson shall preside at all committee meetings and prepare the agenda for each meeting following consultation with the Board. In the absence of the committee chairperson, the committee vice chairperson shall preside at committee meetings. The committee vice chairperson shall succeed to the office of the committee chairperson, should it be vacated before the end of a term, and shall assist the committee chairperson in the discharge of the chairperson’s duties. Each advisory committee shall make recommendations to the Board concerning any matter referred to it by the Board.
Advisory Committees. The Union's designated representatives on advisory or similar committees with community group representation shall suffer no loss of normal salary while attending meetings where their presence is required. It is understood that this clause applies to meetings held during the employee's normal working hours and that no overtime compensation will be granted for meetings extending beyond the employee's normal working hours.
Advisory Committees. 22.8.1 A committee of unit members and instructional aides may assist the Director when interviewing applicants for Instructional Aide positions. A unit member from the room where a position is open will be one of the unit member committee members.
Advisory Committees. The Board may from time to time appoint such other committees as it may deem advisable, but the functions of any such other committees shall be advisory only.
Advisory Committees. The Directors may appoint advisory committees consisting of a member or members of the Co-op and may assign duties and responsibilities to those committees that are not inconsistent with the Act and these Rules and may make policies governing their conduct.
Advisory Committees. 1. Advisory committees, for the purpose of improving communications between the teaching staff and the administration, may be formed in each building when the need arises.
