Advice to Employee. An employee assigned under the staffing process as set out in this Article shall be advised in writing of the commencement date and duration of any training or, in the absence of any training requirement, a familiarization period and the date the employee is to begin performing the duties of the position. The date of reporting to the location shall not be less than fifteen (15) days from the date the employee was advised of his or her selection, unless mutually agreed upon otherwise. In the case of a mandatory transfer, the reporting date shall not be less than thirty (30) days from the date the employee was so advised. A request for an extension beyond the thirty (30) days shall not be unreasonably denied.
