Adverse Personnel Action. At the employee’s request, the Employer or his designee will discuss with an Association representative designated by the employee, each personnel action before effecting a transfer or reassignment which will have an adverse effect on the employee’s pay or position.

Adverse Personnel Action. The Board shall not base any adverse evaluation against a unit member upon materials which are not found in such unit member's personnel file, with the exception of a job related police report. Moreover, the Board shall not base any adverse evaluation against the unit member upon materials which are contained in such unit member's personnel file unless the materials have been placed in the file within 20 days of the incident giving rise to such materials, and the unit member had been notified at such time that such materials were being placed in the file. Upon request by the unit member, any derogatory material in the personnel file will be removed if the unit member was not notified of such placement.

  • Personnel Actions Wages, working conditions, and employee benefits shall be established and administered, and personnel actions of every type, including hiring, upgrading, promotion, transfer, demotion, layoff, and termination, shall be taken without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability.   • COMPLAINTS AND GRIEVANCES 22.01 It is the mutual desire of the parties to this Agreement that reasonable and legitimate complaints and grievances of employees shall be dealt with as quickly as possible.

  • Policy Grievance – Employer Grievance The Employer may institute a grievance alleging a general misinterpretation or violation by the Union or any employee by filing a written grievance with the Bargaining Unit President, with a copy to the Labour Relations Officer within twenty (20) days after the circumstances have occurred. A meeting will be held between the parties within ten (10) days. The Union shall reply within ten (10) days after the meeting, and failing settlement, the matter may be referred to arbitration.

  • Investigation of Grievances The investigation of grievances shall not interfere with the orderly process of education in District 281.
