Common use of Adverse Claims Clause in Contracts

Adverse Claims. Shipper shall indemnify, hold harmless and defend Gatherer, the General Partner and the officers, agents, employees and contractors of Gatherer and the General Partner (each, an "Indemnified Person") against any liability, loss or damage whatsoever, including costs and attorneys fees (collectively, a "Loss"), suffered by an Indemnified Person, where such Loss arises, directly or indirectly, out of any demand, claim, action, cause of action or suit brought by any Person asserting ownership of or an interest in Shipper's Gas.
