Common use of Advance of Credits Clause in Contracts

Advance of Credits. When an employee has insufficient credits to cover granting of sick leave with pay under the provisions of clause 18.02, sick leave with pay may, at the discretion of the Council, be granted for a period of up to one hundred eighty-seven decimal five (187.5) working hours subject to the deduction of such advanced leave from any sick leave credits subsequently earned, or if an employee resigns the advanced leave shall be recovered by the Council by other means.

Advance of Credits. When Where an employee has insufficient or no credits to cover the granting of sick leave with pay under the provisions of clause 18.0215.02, sick leave with pay may, at the discretion of the CouncilEmployer, be granted to an employee for a period of up to one hundred and eighty-seven decimal five (187.5) working hours hours, subject to the deduction of such advanced leave from any sick leave credits subsequently earnedearned and, in the event of termination of employment for other than death or if an employee resigns lay-off, the advanced leave shall be recovered by recovery of the Council by other meansadvance from any monies owed to the employee.

When an employee has insufficient credits to cover granting of sick leave with pay under the provisions of clause 18.02article 34, sick leave with pay may, at the discretion of the Council, be granted (a) for a period of up to one two hundred eighty(200) hours, if the employee is awaiting a decision on an application for injury-seven decimal five (187.5) working hours subject to the deduction of such advanced on-duty, leave from any sick leave credits subsequently earned, or if an employee resigns the advanced leave shall be recovered by the Council by other means.or

Advance of Credits. 33.3.1 When an employee has insufficient credits to cover granting of sick leave with pay under the provisions of clause 18.0233.2, sick leave with pay may, at the discretion of the Council, be granted 33.3.1.1 for a period of up to one hundred eightytwenty-seven decimal five (187.525) working hours subject to days if the deduction of such advanced leave from any sick leave credits subsequently earnedemployee is awaiting a decision on an application for injury-on-duty leave, or if an employee resigns the advanced leave shall be recovered by the Council by other means.or
