Advance Notification. The College President shall notify the President of the Faculty Association in writing of the College Board's decision to reduce the regular employee(s), the reason(s) related thereto per article 13.1; and the specific functional area(s) to be reduced. This notice will be provided at least thirty (30) calendar days in advance of serving notice of layoff to regular employee(s), in order to provide the Association with an opportunity to recommend to the College President specific alternatives within the Association's jurisdiction of the contemplated course of action. The reason(s) for the reduction referred to in article 13.1.2 shall be supported by relevant financial and/or enrollment information.
