Common use of Adoption of a Child Clause in Contracts

Adoption of a Child. 47.15.1 An employee seeking to adopt a child will be entitled to two days unpaid leave to attend interviews or examinations required for the adoption procedure. Employees working or residing outside the Perth metropolitan area are entitled to an additional day’s unpaid leave. The employee may take any paid leave entitlement to which the employee is entitled in lieu of this leave.
