Admissions Policy. Waiting lists for admission are held by the County Admissions Office. The legislation on open admissions and West Sussex Procedures ensure that each school will have a published admission limit. The LEA has a common admissions policy that applies throughout most of the County. Our schools follow the county guidelines and have a local agreement for admission in September. Usually, all children start school in September and those who will be five after 31st April attend part time. A parent may request attendance part time in the spring term and then pupils would become full time in the summer term. A place can be held providing that the child is registered with the school by the end of March in the previous school year.

This must clearly state that admissions arrangements are fair and do not unfairly disadvantage a child, either directly or indirectly, from a particular social or racial group or a child with a disability or special educational need. Providers can prioritise in some circumstances when determining the allocation of places. For example a provider might give priority to families wishing to access full day care on a regular basis. If this is the case the Admissions policy should clearly reflect these instances so that there should be no subsequent misunderstandings. The policy should also clearly identify the point in time at which applications for the funded places will be accepted, any priority factors that will be taken into account in dealing with applications and the time at which families will be advised of the outcome of their application. Admissions Policy. Students enrolling at Mid-East CTC Adult Education Truck Driver Training programs must be 18 years of age and have a completed application on file with the admissions coordinator. Applicants at their own cost must also submit a State of Ohio Driver Abstract. Applicants with more than four points on their current abstract or have record of a DUI/DWI/OMVI motor vehicle substance conviction within the previous five years of this agreement are not eligible to begin training at Mid-East CTC Adult Education. In Addition, to be accepted as a student in the CDL program, I understand that I must pass a U.S. DOT physical examination (parts 383 and 391) and controlled substances test (part 382). All student applicants must possess a valid state driver license for a total of 3 months prior to the beginning of skills range training. Financial Arrangements Applicants who are sponsored by any Federal, State, Private, or financial institution, will have those agencies notify the school in writing for purposes of responsibility for payment. Students who are self- paying for this program are required to be paid in full by the date of this signed agreement. Prior to first day a prospective student may place a seat fee of $50.00 to hold placement in the class. The Fifty dollar seat fee will be applied to the balance of the tuition upon the first day of class. The total cost for the 160 Hour Truck Driver Training program is $5,000.00.
