Administrative Observation. For each faculty member undergoing post-tenure review, the appropriate Vice President or Xxxx will attend the faculty member’s class(es) and/or observe other activities on an arranged basis at a minimum of once per academic year during the five year evaluation cycle. Following the observation, the appropriate Vice President or Xxxx will write a summary report and meet with the faculty member to discuss the observation.

Administrative Observation. A. For the Purpose of Formal Evaluation. Observation of online courses for the purpose of formal evaluation shall be observation of a mutually agreed upon SIA from the course.
Administrative Observation a. Full-Time Tenured Faculty: For tenured faculty, administrative evaluations are conducted at least once every four years. The evaluation consists of classroom observations and a review of Instructional Planning. One classroom observation is performed unless the instructor and the supervising administrator mutually agree to additional visits during the particular semester or other semesters.
Administrative Observation. The appropriate Xxxx for Student Learning may schedule Administrative Observations to assess a faculty member’s teaching and learning. When scheduling Administrative Observations, the appropriate Xxxx for Student Learning shall provide the faculty member with written notification of his/her intent at least one (1) week prior to the observation.

  • Pre-Observation Conference The pre-observation conference shall be held prior to the first formal observation. The teacher and evaluator will mutually agree when to conference. The purpose of the pre- observation conference is to discuss the employee’s goals, establish a date for the formal observation, and to discuss such matters as the professional activities to be observed, their content, objectives, strategies, and possible observable evidence to meet the scoring criteria.
