Adjusted Hire Date. When an employee is reinstated or reemployed by the District following layoff or resignation, the date of hire shall be adjusted forward to reflect the time of absence, which now becomes their seniority date. Adjusted Hire Date. All class members who are King County Employees in a bene- fits eligible position on the date of the settlement hearing and all class members who become King County Employees pursuant to this Agreement shall have their “hire date” adjusted to include his/her class member service when paid through an agency and/or paid as an “independent con- tractor.” The class member’s vacation and sick leave accrual rate shall be based on his/her “ad- justed hire date,” but no earlier than January 1, 1989.   • Twelve Month Employees A member of the unit who is employed on a twelve (12) month 19 basis shall be allowed paid vacation leave, exclusive of holidays, as follows:

  • Evaluation Period Customer’s right to use the Services on a Trial Basis are time-limited and will terminate immediately upon the earlier of (i) the trial end date as specified in an Order Form or other document executed by the parties regarding such trial, or (ii) the start date of when Customer purchases a right to use such Services on a non-Trial Basis, or (iii) the date when QuoVadis terminates Customer’s right to use the Services on a Trial Basis (which QuoVadis may do at any time in its sole discretion). Customer must cease using the Services on a Trial Basis upon any such termination.

  • Ten Month Employees Employees appointed on a regular 10-month basis (those employed for the standard academic year beginning September 1 to June 30) generally receive benefits on a pro rata basis except for holiday pay which will be granted for those holidays that fall during the academic year only.

  • Unpaid Leave - After Three Years For every three (3) years' continuous service, an employee may request, in writing, an extended unpaid leave of absence, giving the longest possible advance notice. Every reasonable effort shall be made to comply with such requests providing that replacements to ensure proper operation of the Employer's business can be found. Notice of the Employer's decision shall be in writing.

  • Extended Reporting Period If any required insurance coverage is on a claims-made basis (rather than occurrence), Contractor shall maintain such coverage for a period of no less than three (3) years following expiration or termination of the Master Contract.

  • Effective December 17, 2020, all provisions of this collective agreement shall be read to be gender neutral.
