ADDITIONAL TERMINAL LEAVE. Each regular, full-time, permanent Employee fulfilling the eligibility requirements hereinabove set forth in Section 1. of this Article and credited with unused accumulated Sick Leave as defined in the Sick Leave Article of this Agreement shall be entitled to apply one (1) such unused accumulated Sick Leave day for each four (4) days of unused accumulated Sick Leave days to his Terminal Leave. ADDITIONAL TERMINAL LEAVE. Each regular, full-time, permanent Employee fulfilling the eligibility requirements hereinabove set forth in Section 1 of this Article and credited with unused accumulated Sick Leave as defined in the Sick Leave Article of this Agreement shall be entitled to add eight and four tenths (8.4) hours of unused accumulated Sick Leave for each thirty three and six tenths (33.6) hours of unused accumulated Sick Leave days to his or her Terminal Leave. However, no Employee covered under this Agreement shall be entitled to apply more than two hundred seventy three (273.0) hours of unused accumulated Sick Leave days to his Terminal Leave Pay.

  • TERMINAL LEAVE Any employee who is separated from State service for any reason including layoff shall receive within seven (7) days a lump sum payment for the number of hours of accrued annual leave at the employee's annualized hourly rate of pay.

  • Additional Leaves Should an employee require additional time to care for a gravely ill family member, additional leaves may be granted beyond the eight (8) week period specified above. Such additional leave shall be pursuant to Article 13.02

  • Additional Leave Any further leave granted beyond the normal thirty-seven (37) week period, or the forty-two (42) week period for special circumstances, will be unpaid leave without benefits.

  • Extended Disability Leave a. Due to a medical disability, an employee shall be granted an extended leave of absence without pay (subject to Paragraph d hereof) if any one of the following conditions exists:

  • Extended Personal Leave Personal leave without pay not to exceed thirty (30) 26 days may be granted at the discretion of the Superintendent. Personal leave in 27 excess of thirty (30) days shall be subject to approval by the Board.

  • Extended Illness Leave 1. Extended Illness Leave, hereinafter referred to as “EIL” shall be established for Administrative Support Group, XXXX, Clerical, and Educational Assistant personnel who are absent due to their own personal illness or injury following the exhaustion of their accumulated illness, vacation and annual allotment of short term leave. Eligibility for Extended Illness Leave includes completion of employee’s probationary period.

  • Extended Leaves Extended leaves of absence of at least three (3) but not more than five (5) years may be granted in accordance with Minnesota Statutes § 136F.43. Notwithstanding any other section of this Agreement, retention and accrual of all rights and benefits for faculty on extended leave shall be governed by Minnesota Statutes § 136F.43. Faculty members shall be returned to the unit in accordance with Article 29, Section B, Subd. 1, and shall be returned to the salary schedule at the step at which they were placed when they left the unit, with accommodation for general increases in the indicated step. If the faculty member’s service to the university in the year the faculty member left the unit qualified for an increase in the succeeding year, then the faculty member shall be entitled to that increase upon return to the unit. Seniority shall not accrue during the years faculty members are on extended leave.

  • Additional Personal Leave Where paid personal leave credits are exhausted:

  • Extended Maternity Leave a. Teachers granted leave under the above mentioned paragraphs, who choose not to return to work at the expiration of that leave may apply for extended maternity leave, four (4) weeks prior to the start of a semester or term or by May 31st in respect to leave expiring on June 30th.

  • Personal Leave Day A. An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal leave day each fiscal year during the life of this Agreement if the employee has been continuously employed for more than four (4) months.
