Additional Teaching Experience Sample Clauses

Additional Teaching Experience a) Teachers who provide proof of secondary school experience outside of Ontario and who held Ontario qualifications as defined by the Ontario College of Teachers, or equivalent, while the experience was acquired either in Canada or out-of-country, shall receive recognition on the grid for this experience. Membership in the Ontario College of Teachers is not a requirement for such recognition. Recognition for such experience must be applied for to the HR Specialist responsible for secondary teachers within three (3) months from the first day worked after being hired, and supported by appropriate documentation from the former employer(s) received no later than June 30 of the school year in which the teacher was hired.

  • Previous Experience 31.01 New employees will be classified according to previous comparable experience for the purpose of establishing wage rates. The Co-operative shall not be required to recognize previous experience of new employees who have not worked in the same or similar business in the past two (2) years. Recognized credit for previous experience shall be applicable to qualifying employees commencing with the first working day following completion of said employee's probationary period.

  • General Experience The Applicant shall meet the following minimum criteria: -

  • Academic Year Academic Year is defined as beginning with the start of fall semester and ending with the completion of spring semester.

  • Work Experience Formula hour equivalents will be given on the basis of the following number of students enrolled at fourth week census: 5-14 students enrolled = 1 (one) formula hour 15-24 students enrolled = 2 (two) formula hours 25-34 students enrolled = 3 (three) formula hours

  • Training Objectives It is important that the objectives for the employee(s) enrolling in this course or program is related to the strategic objectives of the organization for which the employee works. Provide text to explain how the training event meets agency objective(s) and purpose type.

  • Teaching Loads The range of teaching loads, number of preparations and number of pupil contacts required should provide for effective instruction and meaningful teacher-student interaction. DPS and the Association agree to work together to seek increased state funding to decrease class size. The principal shall report to the CSC, after the roster verification process, the number of students in each class and this will be published in the CSC minutes on the school’s website. For the purposes of this section, a “class” shall be defined as any general education, including electives and model one classes. Upon request, after the roster verification process, the District shall provide the Association with the student information management system data regarding class enrollment.

  • CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE All employees shall be classified according to previous comparable supermarket experience. Previous comparable experience shall be granted on the following basis:

  • TEACHING CONDITIONS The parties recognize that the availability of optimum school facilities for both student and teacher is desirable to insure the high quality of education that is the goal of both the teacher and the Board. It is also acknowledged that the primary duty and responsibility of the teacher is to teach and that the organization of the school and the school day should be directed at insuring that the energy of the teacher is primarily utilized to this end.
