Additional Holidays. Every day appointed by the president or Governor of this state for a public feast, Thanksgiving, or holiday, or any day declared a holiday for unit members by the Governing Board shall be a paid holiday for all employees in the bargaining unit.
Additional Holidays. Where in a State, Territory or locality, public holidays are declared or prescribed on days other than those set out in this clause, those days shall constitute additional holidays for the purpose of this Agreement.
Additional Holidays. All employees will receive as additional holidays the first working day before or after Thanksgiving Day (to be designated by the University), four (4) days between Christmas Day and New Year's Day, and Christmas Eve Day or such other day as the employer may designate.
Additional Holidays. Any other day appointed by the President or the Governor of this State, pursuant to subdivisions (b) and (c) of Section 37220 of the California Education Code, for a public fast, thanksgiving, or holiday.

The Board may declare any other day, except days approved for teachers’ attendance at an educational meeting, as a holiday and shall pay to all regular classified employees, whether salaried or compensated on an hourly per diem basis, their regular salary or their regular rate of pay.
Additional Holidays. In addition to the holiday schedule noted above, the Employer shall schedule five (5) more compensable holidays during the calendar year. Each holiday is calculated on an eight (8) hour basis. The Employer may also schedule additional holidays to match state and federal holiday observances. Holiday schedules will be announced by September 1 of each academic year.
Additional Holidays. Any day appointed by the President or the Governor for a public fast, thanksgiving, or holiday shall be a paid holiday for unit members. In addition, any special or limited holidays on which the Governor provides that schools shall close shall be a paid holiday for unit members. The purpose of this section is to incorporate the mandatory provisions in the Education Code, and not to otherwise add to or reduce the designation of holidays.
Additional Holidays. Additional holidays shall be any day appointed by the President, or the Governor of the State, as provided for in subdivisions (b) and (c) of the Education Code, Section 37220, for a public fast, Thanksgiving or holiday, or any day declared a holiday under Education Code Section 1318 for classified employees.
Additional Holidays. Any day declared by the President of the United States and/or Governor of the State of California as a public fast, thanksgiving, or holiday and declared a holiday by the Board of Trustees, shall be a paid holiday for all members of the bargaining unit who would otherwise have been scheduled to work.
Additional Holidays. Unit members shall be granted as holidays each day appointed by the President, or the Governor of the State as provided in Ed. Code Section 79020, Sub Section (b) and (c) for a public fast, thanksgiving or holiday, or any day declared a holiday under Section 79022 of the California Education Code for Classified or Academic employees.
