Additional Emergency. Personal Business Leave will be granted to teachers for the purpose of taking care of or visiting the teacher's newborn grandchild or his/her mother in cases where neither the mother nor the grandchild is "seriously ill." Such leave will not exceed three (3) days per birth and will not be deducted from the teacher's sick leave. Such leave must be used within six (6) weeks of the birth of the grandchild. Such leave will be subject to all other applicable provisions regarding Emergency-Personal Business Leave.
