Additional Class Assignments. Classes taught beyond the normal class load at the secondary level shall be compensated at the rate of one-fourteenth (1/14) per semester of the base pay being received by the teacher involved. Special classes taught beyond the normal class load at the elementary level shall be compensated based on the percentage of the extra assignment over the normal class load.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • OUT-OF-CLASS ASSIGNMENT 1701 When, in the determination of the Department Head and with the approval by the Human Resources Director or designee, it is necessary to specifically assign in writing an employee all of the significant duties of a higher classification for eighty- one consecutive working hours, the employee so assigned shall be compensated at the minimum rate established for the higher call or five percent (5%) above the employee’s regular base rate of pay, whichever is greater, with pay effective upon the date of the change of assignment. Under no circumstances shall the employee receive an amount greater than the maximum step of the higher class. For purposes of this Article, the out-of-class workweek shall begin on the day the employee begins the duties of the higher classification, as specified in the written assignment.   • Relief Assignments 3.1 All possible regular relief assignments with five days work per week and two consecutive rest days (subject to Rule 2) shall be established to perform necessary relief work or to perform relief work on certain days and such types of other work on other days as may be assigned under this Agreement.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift.   • Additional Assignments The Contractor further agrees to, and if applicable, cause each of its employees to, execute, acknowledge, and deliver all applications, specifications, oaths, assignments, and all other instruments which the City might reasonably deem necessary in order to apply for and obtain copyright protection, mask work registration, trademark registration and/or protection, letters patent, or any similar rights in any and all countries and in order to assign and convey to the City, its successors, assigns and nominees, the sole and exclusive right, title, and interest in and to the deliverables.   • Modification; Assignment No amendment or other modification, rescission, release, or assignment of any part of this Agreement shall be effective except pursuant to a written agreement subscribed by the duly authorized representatives of the parties hereto.

  • Assignment of the Contract ‌ The Contractor shall not sell, transfer, assign, or otherwise dispose of the Contract or any portion thereof or of any right, title, or interest therein without prior written consent of the Division. Any such purported assignment or transfer shall be void. If approved, any assignee shall be subject to all terms and conditions of this Contract and other supplemental contractual documents. No approval by the Division of any assignment may be deemed to obligate the Division beyond the provisions of this Contract. This provision includes reassignment of the Contract due to change in ownership of the Contractor. The Division shall at all times be entitled to assign or transfer its rights, duties, and/or obligations under this Contract to another governmental agency in the State of Mississippi upon giving prior written notice to the Contractor.

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.
