ADDENDUM I. The Parties agree that services necessary for the operation of programs variously known as "Evening Class Program", "Continuing Education Programs" or "Further Education Programs" will be purchased by the Employer on a fee-for-service basis in accordance with Section 29 of the Public Service Act. Participation by an Employee in the above programs, on fee-for-service basis, shall be voluntary. ADDENDUM II The Parties agree and understand that all Articles of this Agreement apply only to the bargaining unit as described by Article 2 of the 1982 Master Agreement and do not apply to any persons currently excluded by that Article. It is further understood and agreed that the Employer reserves the right to submit proposals relating to any expanded portion of the bargaining unit should the above noted bargaining unit be expanded.
ADDENDUM I. SICK LEAVE UNDER STATE AND LOCAL LAW The following is an addendum to the 2016-2025 national collective bargaining agreement between the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) and Road Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 669, U.A., AFL-CIO (Local 669): Where a state or local jurisdiction has enacted law to require paid sick leave benefits, or enacts such a law during the term of this agreement, the parties hereto agree to waive such benefits to the extent permitted by applicable law. The parties agree that the benefits avail- able to bargaining unit employees under the current agreement are sufficient for the employ- ees without including paid sick leave. The parties further agree to execute appropriate waiver forms to comply with the waiver requirements of state and/or local laws.
