Activities and Excursions. It is understood that students may participate in off-site social activities and excursions organized by Kings, Concordia College and/or external providers. If your child is under 18, a guardian's permission is understood to be given for them to participate. Please advise Kings in writing if permission is not given in order to act accordingly.

Activities and Excursions. Where providing Activities and Excursions to the Company, the Supplier shall comply with services operated and provided in good faith and in accordance with standards consistent with best practices in the tours and activities industry. Activity being the key element of the experience, shall not be subcontracted.
Activities and Excursions. EH Ambassador understands that the EHI supported VATPO Program may include activities and excursions that are part of the overall experience. Options for a variety of recreational, athletic or other activities and excursions may be offered. All of these activities and excursions (the “Activities”) are operated by VATPO and/or separate entities. Depending on the VATPO Program, these Activities could include: a zip line canopy tour, hiking, swimming in waterfalls, surfing, boat trips, camping, safari, and other outdoor activities (see the list below at the end of this section 6 for more details). EH Ambassador understands and acknowledges that the Activities have inherent risks, dangers and hazards. EH Ambassador confirms that if any of the Activities are unfamiliar to him or her, EH Ambassador has taken steps to ensure that he or she understands the scope of and risk associated with these Activities. EH Ambassador hereby assumes all risks of participating in any/all of the Activities as part of his or her EHI supported VATPO Program. EH Ambassador also understands that these Activities are optional and that EH Ambassador can opt out of any Activity by informing VATPO. EH Ambassador hereby voluntarily releases, waives, discharges, holds harmless, indemnifies and agrees not to xxx EHI, VATPO, the event organizers and organizing companies and their agents, directors, officers, and employees from any and all claims, actions, or losses for bodily injury or loss of health, financial loss or property damage, wrongful death, loss of services, or otherwise, which arise out of travel to or from any of the Activities, use of any equipment, or participation in any of the Activities. EH Ambassador further understands that the list below is not a complete list of all possible Activities, and that EHI cannot commit that EH Ambassador will have the opportunity to engage in any specific Activity. This waiver and release of liability covers, but is not limited to, the following activities that may be offered, including: swimming, surfing, rafting, paddle boarding, boat rides, waterparks, excursions to hot springs and waterfalls, sand boarding, sand buggies, canopy tours, zip lining, ruin visits, volcano tours, safaris, canoe trips, desert safaris, camel riding, wildlife and animal interactions, and exploring caves.

Where a matter within the scope of this grievance procedure is alleged to be both a grievance and an unfair labor practice under the jurisdiction of the XXX, the employee may elect to pursue the matter under either the grievance procedure herein provided, or by action before the XXX.   • Requester and Approved User Responsibilities The Requester agrees through the submission of the DAR that the PI named has reviewed and understands the principles for responsible research use and data management of the genomic datasets as defined in the NIH Security Best Practices for Controlled-Access Data Subject to the GDS Policy. The Requester and Approved Users further acknowledge that they are responsible for ensuring that all uses of the data are consistent with national, tribal, and state laws and regulations, as appropriate, as well as relevant institutional policies and procedures for managing sensitive genomic and phenotypic data. The Requester certifies that the PI is in good standing (i.e., no known sanctions) with the institution, relevant funding agencies, and regulatory agencies and is eligible to conduct independent research (i.e., is not a postdoctoral fellow, student, or trainee). The Requester and any Approved Users may use the dataset(s) only in accordance with the parameters described on the study page and in the 1 If contractor services are to be utilized, PI requesting the data must provide a brief description of the services that the contractor will perform for the PI (e.g., data cleaning services) in the research use statement of the DAR. Additionally, the Key Personnel section of the DAR must include the name of the contractor’s employee(s) who will conduct the work. Through the submission of this DAR, the Requester and Approved Users acknowledge receiving and reviewing a copy of the Addendum which includes Data Use Limitation(s) for each dataset requested. The Requester and Approved Users agree to comply with the terms listed in the Addendum. Through submission of the DAR, the PI and Requester agree to submit a Project Renewal or Project Close-out prior to the expiration date of the one (1) year data access period. The PI also agrees to submit an annual Progress Update prior to the one (1) year anniversary2 of the project, as described under Research Use Reporting (Term 10) below. By approving and submitting the attached DAR, the Institutional Signing Official provides assurance that relevant institutional policies and applicable local, state, tribal, and federal laws and regulations, as applicable, have been followed, including IRB approval, if required. Approved Users may be required to have IRB approval if they have access to personal identifying information for research participants in the original study at their institution, or through their collaborators. The Institutional Signing Official also assures, through the approval of the DAR, that other institutional departments with relevant authorities (e.g., those overseeing human subjects research, information technology, technology transfer) have reviewed the relevant sections of the NIH GDS Policy and the associated procedures and are in agreement with the principles defined. The Requester acknowledges that controlled-access datasets subject to the NIH GDS Policy may be updated to exclude or include additional information. Unless otherwise indicated, all statements herein are presumed to be true and applicable to the access and use of all versions of these datasets.

  • INFORMATION AND APPLICATIONS POLICY LANGUAGE For State Agency Authorized User Acquisitions: Any web-based information and applications development, or programming delivered pursuant to the contract or procurement, will comply with New York State Enterprise IT Policy NYS-P08-005, Accessibility of Web-Based Information and Applications as follows: Any web-based information and applications development, or programming delivered pursuant to the contract or procurement, will comply with New York State Enterprise IT Policy NYS-P08-005, Accessibility of Web-Based Information and Applications as such policy may be amended, modified or superseded, which requires that state agency web-based information and applications are accessible to persons with disabilities. Web-based information and applications must conform to New York State Enterprise IT Policy NYS-P08-005 as determined by quality assurance testing. Such quality assurance testing will be conducted by the State Agency Authorized User and the results of such testing must be satisfactory to the Authorized User before web-based information and applications will be considered a qualified deliverable under the contract or procurement.

  • STRIKES AND SANCTIONS 19.1 The Association and the Board subscribe to the principle that differences shall be resolved by peaceful and appropriate means without interruption of the school program. The Association, therefore, agrees that it will not sponsor nor support any strike, sanction, work stoppage, or other concerted refusal to perform work by the teachers covered by this Agreement, nor any instigation thereof, during the life of this Agreement, nor shall the Board engage in any form of lockout against teachers.

  • Other Activities/Renovations A. The Contractor acknowledges its responsibility to assure the Judicial Council’s quiet enjoyment of the Program and to provide the full service level of the Property for the Program, free from outside distractions, disturbances, and/or interruptions. The Contractor shall avoid assigning any rooms to the Judicial Council or the Attendees during the Program which are adjacent to or across from any group or activity that may generate noise or other distractions, such as construction or other conduct, sufficient to detract from quiet enjoyment of the Program on the Property.
